It had always been a dream of mine to go to Hong Kong. I'm quite glad I did it arriving via China as it gives an interesting perspective, particularly on the issue of just how the Beijing
government will manage the 'SAR' (Special Administrative Region). After all I'd seen and done in SE Asia, I'd have to say that Hong Kong would be a let down. I did meet some interesting
ex-pats and would not mind living and working there myself one day.

From here I caught the second leg of my one-way flight to New Zealand and went onto Melbourne, to meet the chimp and watch some rugby (and possibly have the odd beer or three).
