hi Steve,
I work for a not for profit organisation in NZ. I am doing a talk for a bunch of young people about images and identity. I came across some of your pics.
I wondered if it is ok to use a couple of them for the talk. Again, it would not be for any profit making thing - purely educational. The pictures are one titled 'red like a fire engine' and another with a steinlager and burger rings.
Can u let me know if this is ok?
Thanks,
Eva

Hey, is it ok if I crop and use http://www.stevemorgan.me.uk/travel/newz/newz023.jpg as a livejournal icon? The cropped image is at http://www.livejournal.com/userpic/28005647/337317 (I'm from New Zealand, and yes, Burger Rings rock! Steinlager isn't half bad, either.)

Hi Steve,
Hi mate, I actually found your site before I met you I think. I might be wrong about this as it's a long time ago but before I came to NZ I seem to remember looking up info about Thailand and maps and the full moon party etc and found your trail map.
Anyway, I must have saved these maps and web pages to my hard drive and just the other day I came across them when I was having a clear out. They lead me back to your site and I sort of recognised your name. I also remember you saying something about cycling so the penny dropped.... it's a small world eh!
Well, I'm back in Wigan and it's not particularly great. I've just got back from snowboarding in Verbier in Switzerland - now that was fantastic. Also bumped into Prince William and his mates there too, amongst other famous people - as you do!
Not much else to tell other than I'm going to try and live in NZ this year. Will try and head out there in about 6 months and stay there for good this time. As I like the mountains and the sea I'll probably live in Christchurch for the first 12 months and then take it from there.
So how are you, what are you up to and what happened to the other guy that you were with? I can't remember his name. Say Hi from me and give him my email address. Take it easy for now
ciao
Paddy

Hello, My name is Ryan and I am from Colorado, USA... Don't worry, I'm a nice American (if there is such a thing). Anyway, my wife and I are going to Singapore because I have to worka conference there. The whole thing came up on me so fast that I haven't had a lot of time to research... we just booked our tickets last week. Anyway, I was wondering if you had some favorites sites that you thought we should visit. We are planning to go to Underwater World, but we haven't really looked into anything else. We are 26 years old and from your pictures, I would guess oyu are about the same age. So, any ideas would be great. We always like to take the advice of fellow globe trotters.
Thanks,
Ryan

Hi Steve,
You probably won't remember me, I was one of the Irish backpackers staying at Verandahs in Auckland when you were at the end of your trip. I had a shocked look on my face when you were outlining your fantastic cycling trip! Just dropping a line after I had a gander at your web site. I'm thinking of attempting a cycling trip at some stage myself, but not NZ yet. I was thinking somewhere less of a challenge like the Netherlands! The site is a very useful reference - never thought magpies were so evil but now I know!!
Anyway, hope you're settled back into life back home. You make a brief appearance on me own web site at http://www.traocreative.ie/kiwitour/newzealand/verandahs.shtml if your so inclined to look at these sites.
Have a good one.
Terry

Nice site. You should put more Didsbury Dozen information on it. It might be helpful. University was pretty good I guess. Too bad we had to go to UMIST.

G'Day G'Day from sunny Australia! Having the fantasticist time ever! Even better than Club Trop followed by the AU Social followed by Torremolinous! Over indulging in sun, sea, sand, sex, beer, wine, and cornettos. This IS the life. I do however miss evryone immensely, especially my dear old pulling partner in crime (though we were quite shite as a team) Steve-o x. The site is wicked, keep up the good work! Love Haze x.

A whole site of Steve, genius! Blast from the plast looking through the photos. Ahh the good old days of club trop and pizza hut. Everytime I hear wham I tell whoever will listen about club trop but it never seems to be the same if they didn't experience it. So you made it through uni, how did you do? Can't believe you are still at the hut, when do you become a manager? Take care and have fun though I'm sure its not as good as bumming round the world! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
